I bought a Dragon Scale Candy Koi Betta with huge dorsal 3 months ago.
I like his scales and the huge dorsal. He is a rosetail halfmoon betta.
I did not find a female candy koi to pair for him.
After 3 months, his mouth began to swell, causing him not to eat properly.
His health began to deteriorate.
I then decided to cross breed him to one of my intense red halfmoon female bettas.
I was thinking of keeping his genes before he die.
I guess he developed an internal tumor.
He died a week after the spawn.
On the bright side, he was able to produce around 75 betta fry.
In this video, i will show you how i raised the betta fry from eggs into 28 day old fry. Not even 1 of the fry died
